Book Review : At the Seaside

A few months ago we were giving out review copies of few of our books. We were excited to hear what all of you thought of our books (the good things and the bad things!) and hope that this feedback from people (educators, parents, book lovers, children) will help us create better books and help you choose books for your own kids.

This book review comes from Anju P who received our book 'At the Seaside'.
It’s the SEA!!! Everyone loves to play at the sea side and to feel the waves. The book presents the experiences of a child who is been to the sea for the first time. It captures a child’s many fears about the sea and smoothly the narration shifts to how the child starts to love the sea. In simple words the author has spoken about the good time spent at the seaside, building sand castles, the boats, watching the little crabs, the fishes, the nets and the fisherman.

This book is suitable for kids, parents and teachers alike. One can curl up with their kid and read out “Seaside” to them. I’m sure, they will enjoy it. This is an engaging story with colorful illustrations. The book provides great many pictures of the sea, which are realistic and colorful. It would have been great, if the book had some coloring pages as well. The Seaside is a book worth appreciating!
