It is really wonderful - the Horizon Project. I never knew flat classrooms existed! I was only aware of the flat organisations. Sharing experiences on such a wide scale across the globe would sure be of great value. I was wondering if similar initiatives can be undertaken to address more serious issues concerning humanity e.g. illiteracy, hunger, poverty and disease. If we can, imagine learning to overcome these monsters through the common knowledge of a large cross-section of people who are grappling with these issues in their day-to-day lives. That will be a true bottom-up approach and is bound to be more logical, harmonious and long-term measure than the policies thrust by the policy makers.
